Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Fleet Principal Engineer (TS-S), or by individual appointment to the appointed CAMO Engineer (TS-E). The TS-J role exists to support the TS-S or TS-E in ensuring all aircraft type-related continuing airworthiness activities are carried out. Responsibility for workload distribution sits with the TS-S, while TS-J remains accountable for the quality of their own duties and for flagging any suspected shortfalls in oversight or resourcing.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain awareness of the airworthiness status of each aircraft in the managed fleet, ensuring all operational and emergency equipment required for flight is serviceable
Liaise with aircraft, engine, and component manufacturers, maintenance organisations, and the Flight Operations Division
Coordinate MEL and PFI activities in line with aircraft ferry and delivery requirements
Assist in the development, amendment, and control of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme
Support airworthiness records management and maintenance data control
Assist in the management of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, modifications, and repairs
Contribute reports, statistics, and analysis to the Reliability Programme and support evaluation of maintenance programme effectiveness
Support planning of all maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled base maintenance and major asset visits
Support control and monitoring of aircraft, engine, landing gear, life-limited parts (LLP), and hard-time (HT) components
Monitor and schedule non-routine and deferred maintenance activities, including MEL/CDL requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the AMOS IT system
Support the accomplishment of operational directives, airworthiness directives, and all continued airworthiness requirements, including CRMs, LLPs, airworthiness limitations, CDCCL requirements, and approved modifications and repairs
Issue clear and accurate work orders to maintenance contractors
Participate in material planning relevant to the maintenance activity
Carry out any additional duties within the TS-J functional area as directed by the TS-S or TS-E
